Living in a sunny climate means I always need strong sun protection, even on my lips. This Supergoop! balm delivers exactly what I need without feeling heavy or greasy. It moisturizes deeply thanks to the shea butter, and the Mint flavor is nice and light. Compared to other SPF lip products I've used, this one really stays put through hikes and bike rides, keeping my lips from getting chapped or burnt.
The Mint flavor is refreshing and not overpowering at all. It feels incredible on my lips, very hydrating without being sticky. I keep one in my bag and one at my desk, it's that good.
The applicator on this lip balm is really frustrating to use. It's difficult to get the right amount out without squeezing too much, and then it gets messy. The balm itself seems fine, but the packaging makes it a hassle.
I appreciate having a lip balm with SPF 30 that actually works for beach days. The texture is a little thicker than my usual balms, which means it stays on well, but takes a moment longer to absorb. Overall, it's very effective for sun protection.
