Heavier than anticipated
These boots are noticeably heavy, more so than other hiking boots I've owned. The weight contributes to fatigue on longer hikes, making them less ideal for extended treks. The Brown leather is nice, though.

These Danner boots are absolute tanks. The full-grain leather is incredibly durable and already starting to develop a beautiful patina. The GORE-TEX works as advertised, keeping my feet dry during stream crossings. They required a little breaking in, but now they fit like a glove and provide excellent support on long backcountry trips. Couldn't be happier with a pair of boots made right here in the USA.
