Not quite what expected
The concept is good, but the popping feature isn't consistent. Some dots are very hard to push, which frustrates my child. We mostly just look at the pictures now.
Dig in to the exciting world of construction vehicles! See the pictures, name the vehicles, and poke the irresistible buttons on every page to hear satisfying “clicks” and “pops.” This sturdy 10-page interactive board book invites kids to pop along as they explore full-color photographs of construction vehicles (an excavator, dump truck, backhoe, etc.). Poke-a-Dot® books help encourage language development, animal recognition, and fine motor skills. Patented Pop-a-Tronic™ technology lets kids one and older discover different popping sounds by poking the dots from the front or the back, with pages raised or flat!

My son enjoys identifying the vehicles and making the different popping sounds.
He loves the trucks, but some dots are harder to pop than others.
The construction vehicle pictures are really engaging for little ones. My toddler loves pointing out the dump truck and excavator. The popping sounds are a nice touch, and it's definitely helping with his fine motor skills. Only minor complaint is the dots are a bit stiff for smaller fingers to push at first, but they do loosen up with use.
The sturdy pages and pop-a-dot feature are fantastic for my curious one-year-old.
