Not very durable
The quality of the xylophone is quite poor; the metal bars bent out of shape almost immediately. The recorder also produces a very weak sound. I was hoping for something more robust for little hands.

Some instruments are very flimsy
The overall idea of this band set is great, and my son was excited for all the different instruments. Unfortunately, the quality isn't consistent across the set. The triangle and cymbals are pretty good, but the harmonica broke after only a few uses, and the kazoo stopped working quickly. It's a shame because the wooden case is sturdy and well-made.
