This set is a good starter for the rail system and my child enjoyed it. However, the track pieces are mostly straight, limiting the types of turns you can make without adding a lot of flat tiles. It would be better if more curved rails were included for more dynamic designs right out of the box.
The magnets on some of the rail pieces are very weak. The structures my son tries to build collapse too easily, leading to frustration and disinterest rather than fun.
Watching my child understand momentum and gravity while playing with these rails has been wonderful. It’s a great way to introduce early STEM concepts in a very hands-on and fun way.
The set is fun and works well, but 33 pieces felt a little small for really elaborate tracks.
My nephew, age six, was captivated for hours building different tracks for the included ball. The pieces snap together easily, making it frustration-free for him.
