Gave this to my nephew for his birthday, and he hasn't stopped playing with it. He loves combining it with his other Magna-Tiles sets to build enormous, fantastical kingdoms. The microMAGS are a nice touch for adding fine details to his structures, and the dragon is a big bonus.
My son immediately gravitated towards the dragon figure and the working drawbridge. It instantly sparks imaginative play and blends perfectly with our existing Magna-Tiles.
This set is a perfect addition to our existing Magna-Tiles collection. The unique castle pieces like the spiral stairs and balconies really add new dimensions to building.
The unique castle pieces are a cool concept, and the drawbridge is a neat feature. However, as a standalone set, 48 pieces doesn't allow for very grand castle constructions.
Our household is already a big fan of Magna-Tiles, and this castle set did not disappoint. The detailed pieces, especially the glitter tiles and the microMAGS, add so much character to their creations. It encourages endless storytelling, and the quality, as always, is top-notch.
