Misleading piece count
50 pieces sound like a lot, but many are very small, making it hard to build anything substantial.

Customer reviews
What customers say: This magnetic building set receives praise for fostering imaginative play and creativity, with durable, high-quality pieces. Some wish for more unique construction-specific pieces and larger figures.
★★★★★
Easy for kids to connect
The tiles are perfectly sized for small hands, making it easy for my three-year-old to connect them independently. This really boosts his confidence and keeps him engaged. He loves making ramps for his cars.
★★★★★
High quality, durable fun for all
Such a fantastic toy, built to last and provides endless creativity.
★★☆☆☆
Missing some key pieces
While the overall concept is good, our set arrived missing a few of the advertised construction figures. This was disappointing as those were a big draw for my son. The tiles themselves are fine, but the incomplete set affected the play experience.
★★★☆☆
Solid set, but not truly 'XL' in variety
The quality of the Magna-Tiles is, as always, excellent and very durable. My kids love the construction theme. However, for an 'XL' set focused on building, I expected a wider variety of unique construction-specific shapes beyond just larger versions of standard tiles. It feels like a good expansion, but not a standalone 'XL' experience without other sets.
