We were looking for a high-quality toy chest that would actually last and not be an eyesore, and this one fits the bill perfectly. The wood is substantial, the gray color is sleek, and the slow-close lid is fantastic for preventing little hands from getting caught. It really holds a remarkable amount of toys, making cleanup so much easier for us and our kids.
The slow-closing lid is a huge relief; no worries about pinched fingers for our toddler. It's also quite large, swallowing up most of their building blocks and stuffed animals with ease.
This toy chest is very well-made from real wood, not flimsy particle board. It feels like it will stand up to years of enthusiastic kid use, unlike other chests we've had.
Very impressed with the quality and the safety hinge.
We got this for our daughter's play area and it's fantastic. The gray finish looks really nice with her existing furniture, and the safety hinge works great for little fingers.
