Getting this for my new kitten was one of the best decisions. She loves the soft bedding, and it made her first few vet visits much smoother. The hidden structural panels keep it sturdy, even with her playful movements. I also like having the side pockets for her toys and a leash.
This carrier has made trips to the vet so much less stressful for my cat. The multiple entry options are fantastic for getting him in without a fuss. The Sand color looks great too.
The concept of this carrier converting into a bed is really neat. However, for my larger cat, the overall size is a bit snug when zipped up. It works, but a few more inches in length would make a difference.
My cat used to cry the whole car ride in her old carrier. With this Porto carrier, she seemed much calmer and even napped during our last trip. The faux shearling bedding definitely helped her feel more at ease, and it converts easily once we arrive.
I'm very impressed with the build of this carrier. The water-resistant canvas feels durable and I appreciate the secure pockets for treats and paperwork. It's a thoughtful design that prioritizes cat comfort.
