Perfect for toddlers
My little one enjoys putting the pieces back in place and learning her numbers. The size of the pegs is ideal for her small hands, aiding fine motor development.
Number concepts, zero through nine, are illustrated in this 10-piece peg puzzle. A colorful picture under each piece shows the same number of items as the numeral on top of the piece, helping promote number recognition and counting skills! Encourages hand-eye, fine motor and visual perception skills. This product is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. After only a month, some of the paint on the edges is starting to chip.
The puzzle itself is fantastic; the wood feels very substantial and well-made. My only minor critique is that the print on one of the number pieces wasn't perfectly centered, making it look slightly off. Functionality isn't affected, though.
The pictures under each piece are fantastic for counting.
This puzzle is great for my youngest to learn numbers and practice her hand-eye coordination. The illustrations under each piece are so helpful for connecting the numeral with the quantity. It's a high-quality product that stands up to toddler play.
