Hilarious and fast-paced
Every time we bring this out, everyone has a blast. The rounds are quick, so it’s easy to fit in multiple games during an evening. It's a fantastic icebreaker and always gets people laughing with the absurd cards.
Exploding Kittens: Party Pack Edition is a highly-strategic, kitty powered version of Russian Roulette that can support up to 10 players. Players draw cards until somebody draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode and are out of the game. To avoid exploding, they can defuse the kitten with a laser pointer or catnip sandwich, OR use powerful action cards to move or avoid the Exploding Kitten. Betray your friends. Try not to explode. The last player left alive wins. Previous versions of this game played a Mariachi Cat Jingle when opened. Sadly the Mariachi Cats have retired so in this version you just have to sit with your own thoughts. Please Note: Non-English Versions of Party Pack is not compatible with English Versions of Exploding Kittens and Expansion Packs.

This is perfect for larger gatherings. We had seven people playing, and it was a blast. The game moves quickly, and the strategy elements keep everyone engaged even when it gets down to the last couple of players.
It's a solid card game for a group, but the description mentions the Mariachi Cat Jingle is gone. That was always a fun little quirk of the older versions, and I miss it. Without that, it feels a little less special.
Exploding Kittens is surprisingly strategic for such a silly game. You have to think about which cards to save and when to play them to avoid drawing an Exploding Kitten. We play the English version, and the card descriptions are clear. It's great for gatherings of 4-6 people, though it handles more easily. My only minor gripe is the box can feel a bit empty with just the cards inside, but that’s minor.
The game is fun and easy to play, but sometimes the rounds are over a bit too fast.
