The goat hair brush lost several bristles within the first few weeks of gentle use. It's disappointing because the softness was great for my newborn. The wooden brush seems to be holding up better, but the main reason for buying this was the soft one.
This set was a fantastic addition to our baby's grooming essentials. As she gets older, the wooden bristle brush will be perfect for a gentle scalp massage and combing through thicker hair. The bamboo handles are smooth and comfortable to hold.
My toddler actually enjoys having her hair brushed with the wooden brush. It's a nice little massage for her scalp, and the comb handles tangles easily. The bamboo feels very durable.

The bamboo material is really nice and feels high quality. The goat hair brush is super soft and gentle for my baby. It's a solid set, though the goat hair bristles do shed a bit initially.
