I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase. After only three short trips, the telescoping handle completely jammed and wouldn't extend or retract properly. It feels very cheap, especially compared to the sturdy polycarbonate shell. This makes the carry-on unusable as intended and is a significant flaw in an otherwise decent-looking bag.
The exterior and wheels are excellent; it’s a very sturdy and easy-to-maneuver bag. My only minor critique is that the interior organization is a bit basic. A few more pockets or dividers would really elevate its functionality for packing smaller items. Still a good carry-on overall.
This Ridge carry-on is a significant upgrade from my previous bag. The 360° spinner wheels are incredibly responsive and make navigating busy terminals effortless. Finally found a carry-on that doesn't compromise on either style or durability. The polycarbonate exterior feels incredibly tough and has held up well through several trips already, showing no significant scuffs. Its 38L capacity is surprisingly efficient, allowing me to pack more than I thought possible for its compact size of 21.5" H. The 360° spinner wheels glide effortlessly, making navigation a breeze even when the bag is fully loaded.
Rolls like a dream and the build feels very sturdy.
