I'm really impressed with this beanie. I work outdoors a lot, and this has proven itself in wet, chilly conditions. It truly repels water, and my head stays dry even when everything else is getting soaked. The inner layer is surprisingly soft and adds a lot of warmth without feeling bulky. The snug fit is good because it doesn't slip down over my eyes when I'm moving around. The Dark Teak color is also quite versatile. It's a reliable piece of gear.
Bought this for my morning dog walks in the winter. It's been fantastic at keeping my head both warm and completely dry through snow and sleet. The Dark Teak color is also very stylish.
This beanie is indeed waterproof, which is its strongest feature. The warmth is also good. My main issue is the fit; it's extremely snug, almost uncomfortably so, and doesn't feel like a true one-size-fits-all. It could use more stretch.
