Shoulder strap needs improvement

I bought this bag specifically for its water-resistant claim, hoping to protect my gear during outdoor excursions. Unfortunately, even a light drizzle resulted in some dampness inside the main compartment, which was very disappointing. My clothes got a little wet, indicating the finish isn't as effective as advertised. It's not suitable for any real exposure to the elements.
