The Home Trail ™ Hip Pack is the day-to-day, stow-and-go bag to carry you and your dog's essentials, keeping your hands free for throwing sticks and doling out treats. It has two zippered compartments and an adjustable belt for wearing on the hip or crossbody. While the comfortable, low-profile design is for the humans, the details are for the dogs. An internal mess pocket keeps treats or slimy toys separate from other contents, pick-up bags stash in an exterior mesh pocket, and there's plenty of room for a leash, collapsible bowl, and other small necessities. The stealthy pocket on the back has quick-grab access to your phone so you never miss a photo-op with your #1 trail buddy. This hip pack has been a great addition to our dog walking routine. The separate treat pocket is excellent, keeping crumbs out of my other items. The main compartment is roomy enough for a leash and a few small toys. My larger smartphone, however, doesn't quite fit into the dedicated back pocket as easily as I'd hoped, requiring a bit of a struggle to get it in and out.
The adjustable belt is difficult to cinch tightly enough for a smaller waist, making the pack bounce around. It would benefit from a wider range of adjustability or a different buckle design. This made it uncomfortable for me.
The polyester material feels really sturdy and well-made. I got the River Rock Green, and the color is subtle but stylish. It's much better than stuffing my pockets with dog treats and bags.
This pack makes hiking with my lab so much easier. I can keep treats, a collapsible bowl, and pick-up bags all in one place without juggling leashes and my phone. The Brown Bear color looks really sharp too.
This hip pack keeps all my dog's essentials organized and accessible. I no longer have pockets bulging with treats and pick-up bags. The low-profile design is perfect and doesn't feel bulky at all.
