The bag works well for keeping dirty shoes separate from other gear in my backpack. The water-resistant material and ventilation are definitely good features. My only minor complaint is that my larger hiking boots, men's size 12, are a very snug fit width-wise, making it a bit tricky to zip sometimes. It's fine for regular shoes though.
